I thought I'd use the site as a directing journal for now! As I have several creative projects going on, but none that I can show you!
I have just adapted Alice in Wonderland into a script which I am now directing as a play for my uni drama society. I did the casting last week and 53 people turned up!!!! I cast 35! It was a very hard decision. Tonight I held a read-through of the adapted script with the cast and crew. It sounded amazing, it was so exciting hearing it come to life! It also proved to me I had cast the right people too
I have started producing a play to take to the Edinburgh fringe festival, I am just looking for a new writer to write a play for me to take. I have picked out a few venues I like that look of, and began to work out a budget plan and look for some funding! Apart from that though this project is still in the planning stages... any new writers looking for their play to be performed? CONTACT ME!
I am also starting a short documentary on a local band, this is for my course but I class it as a project. This is in the early planning stages.
I am also preparing for a drama exam in which I put on a 20th Century Play, this is in December. I am just looking for a suitable play. There is too much choice! This is in the early planning stages also. Any ideas?
There is lots new really, I have a new job, new house, but the same great friends
This journal is more for me to look back on than anyone else, as I appreciate it really isn't that interesting! (And an advertisement for writers!!!)
